- Our agreement
Once your booking has been taken a contract is made in the form of an electronic invoice or receipt. This can be printed off and used when you arrive for your tour. Please check all relevant documents for times, dates and meeting locations.
We are unable to accept any liability for inaccuracies that may be contained on your receipt if we are not notified within 7 days of ticket purchase.
The buyer agrees that United Kingdom law will apply when it comes to any legal issues or disputes with your contract.
- Booking a tour
All tickets for the Westminster tour must be purchased online prior to the commencement of the tour. If you are unable to purchase a ticket via the website please contact us by email or phone to arrange your booking.
We can also arrange for you to pay when you arrive on the tour but ask that you inform us by email, phone call or text that you intend to join us. We accept, cash, bank transfer or cheques.
- Group tours and private tours
All sizes of groups are welcome to attend our tour and we offer discounts and special group rates for groups over 10 persons. Please contact us for more information.
- Cancelling your tour
If you need to postpone or cancel your tour we will keep your tickets in full credit for your test urn at a later date and we are more than happy to switch your tickets to an alternative date of your choosing. Your tickets remain valid until you use them. Please give us at least 24 hour notice that you intend not to use your tickets on the selected dates.
- Ticket alterations
All changes to your bookings should be dealt with by email, phone or text message. We will guarantee to meet your request for alternative dates that the tour is running.
- Arriving late
Anyone arriving or running late for the Westminster tour should contact us as soon as possible as often the guide can hold on a few more minutes for your arrival. A contact number is provided with each booking and can be used up to 15 mins after the tour has started to gain information on where the your group is. This will allow you a chance to catch up with the group. After 15 mins we cannot guarantee you will be able to join the group and you will need to re-arrange your your. No refunds will be given for anyone missing the start of the tour but your ticket will remain valid for a later date.
- Cancellations by our company
We reserve the right to cancel the Westminster tour should circumstances beyond our control arise which makes it impossible to run the tour experience.
We operate in all weather conditions, unless specifically advised by the local authorities not to run the tour. This is an extremely rare occurrence normally during a severe storm.
If the weather is bad and you wish to cancel your tour we will move your booking to an alternative date of your choosing.
- Your safety
Those taking part in the Westminster tour are responsible for their own personal safety at all times. Due care and diligence will be undertaken by your tour guide when it comes to crossing the roads, being aware of cyclists and making you aware of possible dangers that lie ahead should the guide spot something which needs brought to your attention.
Covid restrictions across the UK have been lifted so the wearing of masks and social distancing are no longer required, however if you wish to use a face mask and keep a 2 metre distance from the group, you can do this quite freely.
We do not provide hand gel or sanitiser on the tour so please bring your own should you wish to follow Covid guidelines.
- Tour guides
Should one of our guides be unable to conduct the tour due to illness or circumstances beyond their control we reserve the right to substitute the guide with another from our company. Each of our guides are experienced, professional and have been fully vaccinated against Covid.
- Handling complaints
If you wish to complain about any aspect of your tour experience we advise you let your tour guide know immediately. This will allow us to resolve any issue as quickly as possible. If you are unable to do this please contact us by phone, email or text message and we will aim to resolve your complaint immediately or within 24 hours.
- Health considerations and disabilities
Please be aware that our tour experience may not be suitable for those suffering from certain medical conditions or disabilities. Those with mobility issues should always contact us prior to purchasing a ticket so that we can advise them on the suitability of the tour.
If you require assistance to move around in public you will need to bring a companion(s) to aid in this as the tour guide will be unable to assist you during the tour. Please contact our office as often discounts and carers vouchers can be issued to those needing assistance.
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone your tour if we were not made aware of any relevant disability or medical condition which can affect your mobility whilst on our tour.
- Your behaviour on tour
We reserve the right to refuse anyone who arrives on the tour under the influence of alcohol or drugs. By doing so you agree to have your tickets cancelled and be refused entry to the tour. We ask all participants on the Westminster tour to avoid bringing any form of alcohol to the tour to be consumed during the tour. This will be in breach of the law and will result in you receiving a £250 fine by local authorities.
Disruptive behaviour which results in ruining the enjoyment of those taking part in the tour will not be tolerated. Anyone being disruptive, rude or disrespectful will be removed from the tour and their tickets cancelled with no refund.
